Hi, I'm Deb Poole — the hands (and the heart) behind hArt Of Fire.

From my studio in Brisbane, Australia, I create hand-burned, hand-embellished cowboy hats and accessories that you won't find anywhere else. Not because I'm precious about it — but because every single piece is made by me, one at a time, with a wood-burning tool, a steady hand, and a whole lot of love.

The Craft

Pyrography — the art of burning designs into natural materials — is at the core of everything I make. I use a heated stylus to draw directly onto fabric, leather and felt, tracing patterns freehand to create detail that no two pieces ever share exactly. Then comes the embellishment: hand-stitched accents, trims, and finishes chosen specifically for each hat or accessory.

There are no moulds, no mass production, no shortcuts. Just time, technique, and genuine craft.

Because every design is applied by hand, no two pieces are identical. The grain of the material, the line of the burn, the choice of detail — it all shifts slightly with each creation. What you receive is truly your own.
