Custom Straw Rancher Hat: OOAK embossed leathers, rivets and decoupage

Design:  Straw hats are for summer!  They don't burn very well though, but lend themselves to other bespoke customisation! This lightweight, breathable, straw-raffia hat has been very carefully designed and customised over many hours. I've added some decoupage sunflowers on the front and rear of the brim; beautiful  embossed chocolate coloured "pleather" (leather look fabric) on both sides of the brim; I've hammered in brass rivets all round the "pleathered" parts  (these have also been glued to make sure they stay there). The decoupaged sun flowers have been high-gloss sealed for protection. 

Wind Strap and Toggle: NO
Hat Band: Hand made, and permanently applied. I have used sage green and beige linen ribbon, overlaid with a vine/leaf design trim.  One side of the hat features feathers in both matching and contrasting hues of chocolate, beige & caramel. I've added faux sunflowers to the front of the brim as well, either side of the decoupage design.
Brim type: Soft, flat (but has a wire rim so is somewhat shapeable), 9cm width.
