h'Art of Fire is the e-commerce site for the fired art of Debbie Poole, Brisbane, Australia. This encompasses pyrography burned hats, bags, boots & bandana buckles, plus wood burned coasters, boot jacks and other items we like to tackle as time and inspiration hits! An accomplished ceramic artist and airbrush artist, Debbie now spends her part-time working hours creating the one-off pyrograpy items, as well as painting, adding fabric, rhinestones, flowers.....whatever may be required as a hat, bag or boot "frosting". Husband Geoff creates the wood burned coasters in his spare time; they are all hand finished (sanded, varnished & cork backed) by Deb; while the boot jacks are cut by his retired dad, Richard. The ceramics have now been downsized to a manageable hobby size, which Deb can enjoy in her spare time. Should you wish a "made to order" ceramic horse sculpture, these are occasionally available, so ask Deb for a quote. Prices start at $350 for a basic glazed colourway, and completion time takes 6 - 12 months per piece.
